"Yellow Birch Farm"
Started making goat cheese in my kitchen when I got my first few goats in 2006. Since that time I have expanded my goat herd and built a licensed dairy kitchen. At this time I am making fresh chevre, ashed cheese, camembert,crottin, and a few experiments! As well I make really thick and delicious Greek style yogurt and cajeta, goat milk caramel.
I sell my products here at our farm stand,(Tues-Sat. 10-5), Deer Isle Tuesday Night Market-4-7pm, Deer Isle Wednesday Market-9;30-11:30, Stonington Farmers' Market, Friday, 10-12, and the Sunday Eden Market in Bar Harbor, 9:30-12. We also sell our product to several local restaurants.
I sell my products here at our farm stand, Tuesday-Saturday, 10-5.
